The 482 Collective is a registered Canadian charity actively re-imagining how we help people who are bravely struggling to make ends meet after experiencing trauma or abuse. We support women, children and individuals from marginalized communities who have fled intimate partner violence, sexual assault, physical/emotional abuse, and human trafficking. We provide them with timely support of essential items such as food, personal hygiene products, furniture, cleaning supplies, infant gear, clothing and more. Our goal is to alleviate some of the burden caused by repeated trauma, so our clients can think clearly, heal, and begin to rebuild their lives. We do this by taking the time to listen closely to what they need, not what we think they need. We work with individuals, corporations, small business, and community organizations to help remove barriers to access for these resources.
